Dr. Potylitsina has been practicing pediatrics for over 20 years and is very passionate about her work. She is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and was named one of the America’s Top Pediatricians by Consumer’s Research Council of America over three consecutive years.
Before opening her own practice, Dr. Potylitsina worked as a pediatrician at Barnabas Health Medical Group in Middletown, NJ and at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. She took care of newborns in newborn nurseries, treated ill children admitted to the hospital, and transported critically ill children as a member of the pediatric intensive care unit team. She is a former Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, in which role she taught medical students, family medicine and pediatric residents. Her research papers were published in various peer-reviewed journals, including the American Journal of Pediatrics.
Dr. Potylitsina completed pediatric residency training at the Nassau University Medical Center on Long Island. She earned her medical degree at the National Medical University in Kiev, Ukraine and completed a fellowship in Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
Dr. Potylitsina lives in Monmouth County with her husband and three children. She has a first-hand experience in balancing her professional career and family life. Hence, she understands the need of busy families to have reliable access to their children’s doctor, and is very accommodating in her schedule. She is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian.
